Support at Removal

The First 12 Hours

The mission of Fostering Success is to provide children entering foster care a soft place to land. Many times, once removed from their biological family, children spend the next several hours in a case worker's care, their sterile office or even the police department.

Fostering Success will provide a comfortable, child centered environment for the child to be cared for. A Fostering Success volunteer can care for the child(ren) by providing a snack or meal, time to play and supervision while the case worker can make calls to find the child's next of kin or best foster family placement for the child.

We have partnered with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services to provide this space to be used by their case workers. We would also like to partner with other organizations that serve children and families in this way.
